Many architectural organisations, institutions, and practices have ambitions to tackle systemic inequalities, but they struggle to understand and meet the needs of those who are from underrepresented backgrounds.
KUMACON pushes the issues surrounding EDI matters to the forefront of the architectural profession, with a focus on developing, enhancing, evolving, and implementing EDI thinking and strategy across organisations.
Our Mission
At KUMACON LTD, our mission is to assist architectural organisations, institutions, and practices to accelerate their EDI ambitions and understand the barriers that they may face in making lasting progress to inclusivity.
We aim to improve the working culture of architectural organisations, institutions, and practices and aid them in expanding their social value deliverables by strengthening their outreach to different and diverse communities. This is achieved by creating innovative and bespoke programmes, initiatives, and frameworks within the organisation, institution, or practice to address the issues highlighted.
This will help establish internal frameworks and systems and create comprehensive EDI strategies to ensure that EDI is embedded into the learning and culture.
